Our goal was to create a showplace for perspective investors and a welcoming open work environment. The client was not interested in following the standard prototype for a corporate financial office and wished to express their personality in the space.

The mix of contemporary materials, reclaimed wood, custom furnishings and refinished concrete floors were used to break out of the standard financial corporate mold. The use of brick and splashes of the client’s corporate color in the millwork and furnishings were used to bring warmth to the otherwise industrial palette while the finishing of the existing structural beams and ceiling with the use of indirect lighting expanded the space vertically. All of the furnishings, fixtures and colors were chosen in collaboration with Kathrine Morris of Morris House Antiques and Interiors.
